Features and benefits
- Total-etch protocol produces the highest and most durable enamel bond strengths of any adhesive generation, which is why 5th generation systems remain the reference standard for anterior aesthetic work and for bonding to uncut enamel; single-bottle presentation combines primer and adhesive, so there is one application step rather than two; well understood and highly technique-forgiving in experienced hands; compatible with light-cured composites, flowables and compomers; low film thickness does not interfere with restoration seating.
Directions to use
Isolate and clean the preparation. Apply 37% phosphoric acid etchant to enamel for 15 seconds and dentine for 10 seconds, rinse thoroughly for at least 10 seconds and remove excess water — leave the dentine visibly moist and glistening. Desiccated dentine collapses the collagen network and is the single commonest cause of post-operative sensitivity with this system. Apply the adhesive generously and agitate for the time stated in the IFU. Air-thin gently to evaporate the solvent until the surface no longer moves, then light-cure. Place the composite immediately. Recap at once and store cool and away from light. Confirm exact composition, setting times and contraindications against the SafeEndo IFU before publishing.
