Directions to use
Clean and lightly dry the cavity. Place a cotton pellet or spacer over any intracanal medicament so the material does not enter the canal. Retrieve the required amount with a clean plastic instrument and condense into the cavity to a depth of at least 3–4 mm — a thin temporary will leak and defeat the purpose. Adapt and smooth the surface, then lightly moisten to initiate the set. Check the occlusion and relieve any high spot, since the patient will load it for days. Advise the patient to avoid chewing on that side and to return promptly if the temporary is lost. Close the jar tightly immediately after use — the material sets on contact with atmospheric moisture.
